April 2003 A new 7 string webring has started,and yours truly has also been finding links for some great guitar books which are on the front page of the website! I have been trying to find the 7 th heaven video with no luck. I can only say to try eBay or Half.com. I know the Vai lessons are messed up-I don't know how to unscramble them nor do I know anyone else who does. I will keep trying however!

June 12,2002 Man time has passed slow in one way,fast in another. I finally got a long phone line to hook my puter up now that I have moved home to California. I owe an apology to whoever sent in a 7 string review-please send it again as I accidently deleted it out of my mailbox. It will get posted this time I promise. As I'm finally for the most part settled in, I now have the freedom to keep this site updated on a regular basis. I know you've heard that one before,but unless you've ever been a caregiver you have no idea how time consuming it can be. I also am the proud owner of a Dean Avalanche Ultra 7,and am awaiting its arrival! E bay is wonderful! I will also start stopping in on the message board,and am considering putting a chat room in. Any feedback on that would help. Whatcha think?

May 12,2002 I know- many of you have probably wondered if I abandoned this site. I haven't. I was taking care of my mom,who passed away 4/29/02. I was her only caregiver & she was bedridden.The last 2 months she needed extra care & I nearly dropped everything to care for her. Her passing was fast & unexpected-I have moved home to Calif. to live with my dad for awhile & rest & heal. Now that I have more time & am catching up on rest, I'll definately be working this page again! So bear with me.....

Feb.14,2002 Happy Valentines Day everybody! I'm getting better with my HTML skills, and I've managed to add a 7 string guitar review & a few links correctly (will wonders never cease?) Have something new for you all to check out,a Solosong 7 string that you've got to see & hear! Check it out at Solosong The guitarist you hear on the mp3s is Jim Soloway.
I'd also like to mention that if there are any authors out there who write books on playing the 7 string guitar would send me a copy, I'd be glad to go over it & give it a book review of my own. Contact me for details!

Jan 1.2002...RevSharp has passed the reins of maintaining and updating this website to me,and I am honored to be taking it over. I am also a 7 string guitarist,better known as the "Queen of the 7 string". I've posted a couple of times on the message board using the screen name 7 stringdiva. I play an Ibanez AX 7221. I'm looking foward to keeping the page current,informative,and interesting!
May 31, 2000...Sorry for the delays in updating, but I've had a lot going. I've added a few reviews of the Ibanez RG7421 and the Ibanez AJ307CE 7-string acoustic guitar in the Reviews Section. That's about it. By the way, I got THE Dream Job!!! I'm now making guitars for Tacoma Guitar Company. These are some of the best Acoustics out on the market..and there's a 7-string in the works! April 4th, 2000...LOTS OF NEW STUFF!!! I decided after hearing a suggestion on the guestbook (Thanks Nick!!!), that I will include 7-string guitar tabs in the Lessons section. So far, I found some cool tabs from Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment, & LOTS of Meshuggah tabs. Keep in mind that the tabs I put up will only be 7-string related. I'll put up as much as I can. Anyway, this should keep you guys (and girls) busy for a while! :-) As you've problably noticed, the tabs I've put up so far are rather challenging. Since this is a lessons section, I'll try to find more challenging material. So don't expect Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff" anytime soon. :-) If you wanna know how to play that, just go back and forth on the E-flat & A barre chords & you'll figure it out from there.

Also, I have just set up the "7-STRING CLASSIFIEDS" section. Here you can sale & trade ANY 7-string guitar. And last, but not least, I've added a DISCUSSION FORUM!!! ENJOY the new stuff! :-)

March 4, 2000...Sorry it's taken so long for me to update. As some of you know, I spent from Nov. through Jan. attending a school in Pensacola, FL. After getting back to good ole Seattle, I had to find a JOB!!! :-) Now that that's all taken care of, I can get back to the website. Also, I replaced my WebTV w/ a REAL computer, therefore updates won't be such a pain in the neck.
Anyway, I made the first of many updates. In the lessons section, I've added Steve Vai's amazing 10-hour guitar workout! If you follow the lessons, your playing WILL improve dramatically! Also, I've adding some cool stuff in the guitarists section. I will be adding all kinds of new stuff soon including info on the newest batch on 7-strings, guitarist updates, photos, & some of my riffs for those of you wanting to learn N-GAUGE music. Also, I'm thinking of adding a discussion forum. If any of you would like that, let me know your vote for the best free discussion forum programs on the 'net so I can check them out! Email me here! October 28, 1999...Even MORE stuff was added! It's too much to name, but have a look around. I'm currently transcribing a bunch of stuff for the "My Riffs!" & "Lessons!" pages. I know, I know, you saying "FINALLY! You ass!" :-) Fret not (pun intended) my little bringers of chunk, because since I started the "website overhaul", I've managed to add 4 MEGABYTES worth of shi...I mean, stuff! So kick your shoes off, stay a while, & submit a 7-string review! HAHA! You though I was done harpin' on that, huh? :-)

October 24, 1999...Don't you just hate WebTV? This what I use to run this site. Well, I finally have accumulated a bunch of 7-string stuff for you...the 7-string community. I'm currently in the midst of a huge overhaul on this site. Some of the features will include lessons from me & from the long-lost 12 page Steve Vai booklet that came w/ the Ibanez Universe from '90-'93. Now you can get it here! Also, there will be many more pictures, guitars, players, & spec information. BTW, my counter is acting up (I'll get a new one), but thanks to the 1400 7-stringers who have visited so far! Once again, send me all the info you feel I may have left out & send me a review of your favorite or not-so favorite 7-string & I'll gladly post it. Later.

August 22, 1999...The "7-String Reviews" page has been added. This is the place where you can voice your opinions on ANY 7-string you've played, own, or have owned. I will post reviews as I get them. This page will be built by you...The 7-Stringers of the world! So, dust off those composition writing skills & get to work! Tell us what you think. Make a Submission!

Also, I added tons of new stuff to the "Players" section including updates on gear, new album releases, pictures, & other little nick-nacks.
August 15, 1999...Well, it's been a while since I've updated the site. This has been due to my obligations w/ my band, N-GAUGE. We've had a lot going on. Anyway, I finally got the messed up pages working again so everything here should be functional. I also added some various info throughout the site so take a look.
April 4, 1999...The new section, "7-string players!", was added to the website. The section features players whose contributions to the 7-string community are un-measured. It'll also host your favorite players from all genres of music. If you have another name you feel should be there, let me know. Email me!
January 18, 1999...The Rev's 7-String Website was created!...And it was my 24th birthday! So, where are my presents? I'll gladly except a new OR used 7-string!!! :-)
